I am currently a Graduate student in Art Education and a mom of two fabulous kids. A daughter who is in the terrible 2′s , “I can do it all by myself”, and “NO, NO, NO” phase, and a calm, easy going son who’s 4 months who’s happy doing everything and anything! I just got a job at the Elementary school in our community. The school is an intermediate, 3rd-5th grade institution. Along with teaching the art classes, part of my position is considered Art Integration. Half of my day is free for teachers to schedule time for art lessons that correlate with the lessons they’re teaching in their classrooms. I’m extremely excited to be in my own room and finally feel like I’m beginning an “adult life”, now that I have a family, a home and a career! …More to come!!!
